El hipertexto como nexo interdisciplinar en la pintura contemporánea

    Atender a proyectos artísticos que mezclen distintos campos de investigación es cada vez más común y lógico, ya que, como bien explica Kristeva: “todo texto se construye como mosaico de citas, todo texto es absorción y transformación de otro texto”. A esta dialéctica entre textos (obras) y entre obras de distintas disciplinas, que dan lugar a nuevos proyectos (nuevas obras) se le conoce como hipertexto. La pintura contemporánea, medio en el que nos vamos a centrar para este estudio, está aportando cada vez más a este cruce entre las distintas disciplinas, viendo, por ejemplo, como en las últimas década los máximos exponentes de este medio trabajan con el concepto de “pintura fotográfica”, la cual nace con la obra de Gerhard Ritcher y es continuada por Luc Tuymans, Chema Cobo, Wilhelm Sasnal, Eberhard Havekost y Johannes Kahrs entre otros muchos. En resumen, artistas que se llevan recursos meramente fotográficos al campo de la investigación pictórica. Tiene sentido pensar que cada vez más los artistas planteen obras interdisciplinares o que adopten códigos de otras disciplinas para el desarrollo de su propia investigación, asumiendo estas relaciones para establecer nuevas formas de abordar los proyectos. Sin embargo, no solo vamos a abordar la relación entre distintos campos de investigación, sino concretamente a uno de los principales agentes que la produce y al que ya hemos nombrado antes, el hipertexto. Gérard Genette considera que toda referencia transtextual es en realidad hipertextual, ya que todo texto (obra en este caso) se conecta con otras o más. Es por eso por lo que establece dos tipos de textos: El hipotexto, que sería el primer texto; y el hipertexto, que sería el texto creado a partir del primero texto (a partir del hipotexto).

    Attending to artistic projects that mix different fields of research is increasingly common and logical, since, as Kristeva explains: "all text is constructed as a mosaic of citations, all text is absorption and transformation of another text." This dialectic between texts (works) and between works of different disciplines, which give rise to new projects (new works) is known as hypertext. Contemporary painting, the medium in which we are going to focus for this study, is increasingly contributing to this cross between the different disciplines, seeing, for example, how in the last decade the greatest exponents of this medium work with the concept of "Photographic painting", which was born with the work of Gerhard Ritcher and is continued by Luc Tuymans, Chema Cobo, Wilhelm Sasnal, Eberhard Havekost and Johannes Kahrs among many others. In short, artists who take merely photographic resources into the field of pictorial research. It makes sense to think that more and more artists submit interdisciplinary works or adopt codes of other disciplines for the development of their own research, assuming this relationships to establish new ways of approaching projects. However, we will not only address the relationship between different fields of research, but specifically one of the main agents that produces it and which we have already named, hypertext. Gérard Genette considers that all transtextual reference is actually hypertextual, since all text (work in this case) is connected with others or more. That is why it establishes two types of texts: The hypotext, which would be the first text; And hypertext, which would be the text created from the first text (from the hypotext).
