Se registra por primera vez la depredación del ciempiés Rhysida longipes (Newport, 1845) por el geco Hemidactylus mabouia (Moreau de Jonnès, 1818), a partir de los fragmentos de un espécimen hallados en las heces de este lagarto en el área urbana de San Antonio de los Baños, provincia de Artemisa, Cuba. Este constituye el segundo caso conocido de depredación de Chilopoda por H. mabouia.

The centipede Rhysida longipes (Newport, 1845) is recorded for the first time as prey of the Tropical Home Gecko, Hemidactylus mabouia (Moreau de Jonès, 1818), on the basis of some body fragments of this myriapod found in a fecal pellet of the lizard in the urban area of San Antonio de los Baño, Artemisa Province, Cuba. This is the second known episode of Chilopoda predation by H. mabouia.
