Resumen de La Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona: el camino hacia una universidad bimodal en el marco de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación

• Information and communication technologies allow the University to cover the new requirements from society. This paper shows the answers the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) is providing to these new needs through the bimodal model. This model takes advantage of both the attendance and distance education in a flexible way.
