Resumen de La tía fingida según la copia de Martín Fernández de Navarrete: el descubrimiento de una copia manuscrita

En este artículo se estudia la copia manuscrita de la novela La tía fingida que se realizó a principios del siglo XIX para el cervantista Martín Fernández de Navarrete y que él mismo cotejó con el original, el conocido como Códice de Porras. Esta copia manuscrita, que se creía perdida, permite conocer cómo era la copia que le sirve de modelo y también los errores que se cometieron en la copia que se hizo de la misma, dada a conocer en el año 2016, y que está en la base de la primera edición de la obra, la realizada en Berlín en 1818. Esta copia manuscrita, al ser cotejada con el original, es el testimonio más autorizado para futuras ediciones modernas de la obra, por lo que se ofrece una transcripción paleográfica de la misma al final de este artículo.

This article studies the manuscript copy of the novel La tía fingida that was made at the beginning of the nineteenth-century for the Cervantist Martín Fernández de Navarrete and that he himself checked against the original, known as Códice de Porras. This handwritten copy, which was thought to be lost, allows us to know what the copy that serves as its model was like and also the errors that were made in the copy that was made of it, released in 2016, and which is at the base of the first edition of the work, the one made in Berlin in 1818. This handwritten copy, when checked against the original, is the most authoritative testimony for future modern editions of the work, so a paleographic transcription of it is given at the end of this article.
