    La aparición de la pandemia del covid-19 determinó el establecimiento de la emergencia sanitaria, por consiguiente el confinamiento obligatorio, para continuar con el sistema educativo fue necesario implementar la educación remota, este nuevo sistema ocasionó una sobre carga laboral en los maestros afectando principalmente su salud mental, por esta razón se propuso como objetivo de este estudio determinar la relación existente entre el síndrome de Burnout con el compromiso organizacional en docentes de educación secundaria durante la emergencia sanitaria por el covid -19, se realizó un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo de tipo correlacional, empleando cono muestra 323 profesores, el procesamiento estadístico permitió concluir que existió relación inversa y significativa entre el síndrome Burnout y el compromiso organizacional en docentes de educación secundaria

    The appearance of the COVID-19 pandemic, determined the establishment of the health emergency, therefore the mandatory confinement, to continue with the educational system it was necessary to implement remote education, this new system caused an overload on teachers, mainly affecting their mental health, for this reason it was proposed as the objective of this study to determine the relationship between Burnout syndrome and organizational commitment in secondary education teachers during the health emergency due to COVID -19, a quantitative approach study of correlational type, using a sample of 323 teachers, statistical processing allowed to conclude that there was an inverse and significant relationship between the burnout syndrome and organizational commitment in secondary education teachers.
