Resumen de Sustentabilidade, governança e educação ambiental: respostas frente a um mundo de crises

This paper seeks to carry out a theoretical study about the relationship that must be established between sustainability, environmental governance and environmental education, highlighting how these concepts can be useful to seek answers in a world of crisis. To reach this objective, the following specific objectives will be developed: a) to analyze the environmental crisis and the construction of the concept of sustainability; b) verifying how the idea of environmental governance has been established, the levels at which this concept can be verified and its contradictions and c) raising questions about what are the relevant aspects that can be offered by environmental education in such a complex context of interconnected crises. The method used is deductive, theoretical and philosophical. As a result, it is observed that there are contradictions in the possibilities of using governance in view of the structural problems of the economic model. Nevertheless, the approach studied can be useful in a horizon where there is a belief in full awareness of socio-environmental issues, especially in critical moments as a possible long-term solution

O presente trabalho busca realizar um estudo teórico acerca da relação que se deve estabelecer entre sustentabilidade, governança ambiental e educação ambiental, ressaltando como esses conceitos podem ser úteis para buscar respostas em um mundo de crises. Para chegar a este objetivo, serão desenvolvidos os seguintes objetivos específicos: a) analisar a crise ambiental e a construção do conceito de sustentabilidade; b) verificar como se tem estabelecido a ideia de governança ambiental, os níveis em que este conceito pode ser verificado e suas contradições e c) levantar questionamentos a respeito de quais os aspectos relevantes que podem ser oferecidos pela educação ambiental num contexto tão complexo de crises interconectadas. O método utilizado é o dedutivo, de caráter teórico e filosófico. Como resultado, observa-se que existem contradições nas possibilidades de uso da governança diante dos problemas estruturais do modelo econômico. Não obstante, a abordagem estudada pode ser útil num horizonte onde se acredita na conscientização integral sobre os temas socioambientais, em especial em momentos críticos como saída possível a longo prazo.
