Pressure ulcers are ischemic lesions, located in the skin and underlying tissues, that cause rapid tissue degeneration. They are usually caused by immobility and pressure on bone surfaces, which is usually common in patients with physical disabilities. Their care is based on their prevention, on their evaluation once they have appeared or if the patient already suffered some and finally in the treatment of injuries.
