    The necropolis of the First Iron Age of Verucchio (Rimini-Italy), traditionally part of the Villanovan culture, represents a privileged observatory for the depth analysis of the funeral ritual. This analysis considers the cremation graves with weapons from different points of view: the type of weapons, their use in the tomb spaces, the methods of deposition, the characteristics and changes in the time of the ritual use of the objects.

    The subject of this article is, on the one hand, the analysis of the combinations of weapons in relation to the spaces of the graves and therefore their intrinsic symbolic-ritual meaning, on the other hand the diachronic study of the social figure of ‘the warrior’' in the plots of the necropolis.

    Through a possible diachronic reading of the ritual manifestations, while paying attention to the ritual filter, it is also possible to recover the identity image of the Verucchio community in the complex and articulated Villanovan culture

    La necrópolis de la Primera Edad del Hierro de Verucchio (Rimini-Italia), tradicionalmente parte de la cultura villanovana, representa un observatorio privilegiado para el análisis en profundidad del ritual funerario. Este análisis considera las tumbas de cremación con armas de diferentes puntos de vista: el tipo de armas, su uso en los espacios de las tumbas, los métodos de deposición, las características y los cambios en el tiempo del uso ritual de los objetos.

    El tema de este artículo es, por un lado, el análisis de las combinaciones de armas en relación a los espacios sepulcrales y por tanto su significado simbólico-ritual intrínseco, por otro lado el estudio diacrónico de la figura social 'del armado' en las agrupaciones funerarias de la necrópolis.

    A través de una posible lectura diacrónica de los hechos fúnebres, mientras se presta atención al filtro ritual, es posible también recuperar la imagen identitaria de la comunidad de Verucchio en el complejo y articulado paisaje villanovano
