Resumen de Perspectivas de la política agraria: una visión desde Bruselas

La Comisión Europea ha elegido el nombre de "Agenda 2000" para designar su visión del futuro de la Unión. Detrás de este nombre funcional hay un paquete de propuestas con implicaciones fundamentales para el futuro de la Unión Europea en general, y su agricultura en particular, al comprender las opiniones de la Comisión sobre la necesidad de reformar la Política Agrícola Común (PAC), todo ello en un marco global de perspectivas financieras para los años 2000 a 2006. La presente contribución se centra en los aspectos agrarios de dicha agenda, abordando tres preguntas o interrogantes que están en el centro de muchos debates, referidas tanto a aspectos internos a la Unión como a aspectos ligados a la relación entre la actual Unión europea con países terceros

The European Commission has chosen the name of" Calendar 2000" to designate its vision of the future of the Union. Behin this functional name there is a package of proposals with fundamental implications for the future of the European Union in general, and their agriculture in particular, when understanding the opinions of the Commission about the necessity of reforming the Common Agricultural Politics (PAC), everything it in a global mark of financial perspectives for the years 2000 at 2006. The present contribution is centred in the agrarian aspects of this calendar, approaching three questions or queries that are in the center of many debates, referred so much to internal aspects to the Union like bound aspects to the relationship among the current European Union with countries third.
