    Se ha observado un gran incremento del carcinoma de tiroides en estos últimos años. Es el cáncer de tipo endocrino más frecuente. Su diagnóstico precoz, es la mejor opción que tienen los pacientes de sobrevivir y de un posible tratamiento quirúrgico.

    Es la glándula que se sitúa a la altura media del cuello, rodeando a la tráquea, que en condiciones normales no se palpa, pero cuando existe una patología, puede apreciarse un bulto bajo la piel, palpable. Este es el primer signo de que algo no marcha bien y hay que estudiarlo.
