  La tendinitis del tibial posterior es una patología cada vez más frecuente en nuestro día a día como profesionales. Se trata de una lesión por sobreuso, que ocasiona inicialmente la inflamación del tendón tibial posterior y de su vaina, produciendo también una tenosinovitis. Puede tener diversas causas una de ellas por aumento de la carga y del estrés que frecuentemente recibe el tendón, esto puede ocurrir producto de alteraciones en la pisada (pisada hiperpronadora), sobrepeso, laxitud articular.

  Puede producirse por diversas patologías asociadas al tobillo, con existencia de dolor además de poderse producir un cambio de la pisada.

  Existen diferentes variantes de tratamientos, terapia médica, terapia farmacológica y fisioterapia. Por lo que, en la actualidad, el tratamiento es una combinación de todos ellos.

  Posterior tibial tendinitis is an increasingly frequent pathology in our daily professional life. It is an overuse injury, which initially causes inflammation of the posterior tibial tendon and its sheath, also producing tenosynovitis. It can have diverse causes, one of them is an increase of the load and of the stress that frequently receives the tendon. This can happen as a product of alterations in the step (hyperpronation step), overweight, articular laxity.

  You can be produced by diverse pathologies associated with the ankle, with the existence of pain besides being able to be produced a change of the footprint.

  There are different variants of treatments, medical therapy, pharmacological therapy and physiotherapy. For what, at the present time, the treatment is a combination of all of them.
