La compresión del nervio mediano a nivel de túnel carpiano, es una patología cada vez más frecuente en nuestra sociedad debido a la modificación en nuestros hábitos diarios y el creciente uso de la tecnología.
Debido a ser la mononeuropatía más común se hace necesario encontrar procesos diagnósticos flexibles, sensibles, específicos, y eficientes. A su vez también es importante aplicar los mismos principios en cuanto al tratamiento tanto conservador como invasivo.
