  • Resumen
    • Heart rate variability analysis is a simple non-invasive tool that can be used to find markers of cardiac and neurological pathologies based on an electrocardiogram recording. RHRV is an opensource R package that carries out HRV analysis; it currently has around 1000 monthly downloads. Many of the users of this package are not familiar with programming in R and/or do not have a strong statistical training, which hinders the usage of this package. We have created an RHRV script that takes as inputs case and control recordings of a given experiment and calculates the HRV temporal and frequency domain indexes. Then, it applies a proper statistical test, depending on the normality of the data, to find differences between those indexes. The final goal of the script is making the usage of RHRV easier for non-technical users.
