Resumen de Intervenció arqueològica a la necròpolis de Llessui (Pallars Sobirà)

  L’any 2015 durant la urbanització d’un vial al nucli de Llessui es van localitzar 12 d’estructures funeràries. Es tractava de tombes de lloses de pissarra amb coberta plana que guardaven una relació tant tipològica con cronològica, datades entre finals dels segle XI i començament del XII. A nivell antropològic, l’estudi de les restes suggereix una certa longevitat del grup d’individus estudiats, on s’hi troba una població eminentment adulta i amb paritat de sexes. El grup analitzat, però, no representa en absolut una població, ja que manquen clarament grups d’edat, com la població infantil, juvenil o adult jove. S’han observat lesions traumàtiques i microtraumàtiques, en forma de fractures remodelades i osteocondritis, així com lesions entesopàtiques a ròtula, calcani i falanges de les mans, acompanyades de les generalitzades remodelacions esquelètiques dels ossos llargs de les extremitats superiors i inferiors.

  In 2015, during the urbanization of a street at the Llessui nucleus, 12 funeral structures were located. The tombs were made of slate slabs with flat roofs that kept a typological and chronological relationship, and were all dated between the end of the 11th century and the beginning of the thirteenth century. Regarding the anthropological aspect, the study of the remains suggests a certain longevity of the group of individuals studied, as well as an eminently adult population that presents gender parity. The analysed group, however, does not represent the population of Llessui, as there are clearly no age groups, such as the young, juvenile or young adult. Traumatic and microtraumatic injuries have been observed in the form of remodelled fractures. Osteocondritis, as well as entoesopathic injuries to the kneecap, calcaneus and phalanges of the hands have been noted, accompanied by the generalized skeletal remodelling of the long bones of both upper and lower limbs.
