    Se realiza un estudio de derecho comparado sobre la elección de los vocales del Consejo General del Poder Judicial con países de nuestro entorno europeo y, en menor medida, americano. Se analiza igualmente la postura al respecto de diferentes instituciones europeas como el Consejo de Europa, el Consejo Consultivo de jueces europeos, la Red europea de consejos del Poder Judicial, el Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos y la Comisión de Venecia.

    A comparative law study is carried out on the election of the members of the General Council of the Judiciary with countries of our European environment and, to a lesser extent, American. The position of different european institutions such as the Council of Europe, the Consultative Council of European Judges, the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary, the European Court of Human Rights and the Venice Commission is also analyzed.
