Resumen de Affricates in aromanian and albanian spontaneous speech
This paper deals with affricates in bilinguals’ spontaneous speech, as illustrated by data collected from Aromanian-Albanian bilinguals from Elbasan. The primary aims of the research are: to determine and describe the affricate inventory in both languages and the phonetic processes that affect them, and to decide whether the actual inventory in the bilinguals’ brain is a single one for Albanian and Aromanian or they have two separate consonant (particularly, affricate) systems.
