• This paper explains the technique used to analyze the geomorphologic dynamics in a high mountain talus (Veleta peak cirque, Sierra Nevada, Spain) by GIS processing and by comparing of a series of photographs taken at different dates. Results show the occurrence of frequent mass movements that trigger morphologic changes on the talus surface
