Riskcat report presents the main conclusions and proposals for an extensive study that analyses our capacity to deal with certain natural hazards in Catalonia. On the basis of seven reports (one for each phenomenon studied: avalanches, landslides, subsidence, floods, coastal erosion, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions), the analysis of current legislation, and with the aid of the document database with material inventory, Riskcat provides the fundamental information on the geographical extension of events and related damage in the past, the current state of knowledge, and the measures taken to mitigate natural hazards.
