Resumen
Muntanyes d’Ordal is located in the central sector of the Catalan coastal system, a few kilometres away from Barcelona and within its metropolitan area. It is a highland sector of limited height but with remarkable rugosity, where relief is revealed as a landscape element of indisputable weight. The aim of this work is to detect and characterise those geosites that contribute in a more evident way to heritage enrichment. The study is developed from a landscape point of view; for this reason homogeneous units are used. The units are homogeneous from a topographical, morphostructural and dynamical point of view, paying special attention to physiognomy. A geosites inventory realised this way facilitates its territorial understanding and a better evaluation and weighting, in accordance with the environment in which they are located.
