    Este trabajo investiga el grado de influencia que el sector comercializador hortofrutícola almeriense ha tenido en la conformación actual de las Cooperativas Hortofrutícolas Almerienses, dado que estudios anteriores han señalado caracteres diferenciadores entre éstas y el resto de las Cooperativas Hortofrutícolas Andaluzas. La información primaria que sirve de base al trabajo se ha obtenido de entrevistas realizadas a la totalidad de las Cooperativas Hortofrutícolas Almerienses, así como a empresas hortofrutícolas no cooperativas de la provincia, representando el conjunto analizado en torno al 90% del volumen total de ventas del sector, y el 83% del número total de empresas.

    This research work examines the degree of influence that the fruit and vegetable commercialization sector in Almería has had in the present shaping of Fruit and Vegetable Cooperatives in Almería, since previous studies have shown differentiating aspects between these and the rest of Andalusian Fruit and Vegetable Cooperatives. The primary information on which this research work is based, is the result of a number of interviews that have been carried out in all the Fruit and Vegetable Cooperatives in Almería, as well as in those non-cooperative fruit and vegetable enterprises in the province, the whole of which accounts for 90% of the total sales volume of the sector, and 83% of the total number of enterprises.
