Este capítulo recoge la experiencia realizada con diferentes grupos focales formados íntegramente por personas mayores de 65 años para llevar a cabo un diagnóstico de su municipio con respecto al grado de amigabilidad del mismo. Se han recogido solamente las opiniones de los grupos focales con respecto al apartado de "información y comunicación", uno de los ocho temas que se trataron en cada uno de los grupos focales. El análisis de los resultados obtenidos en todas las investigaciones nos lleva a concluir que resulta una necesidad imperiosa la adaptación de las TIC al colectivo de personas mayores, no solo para su integración en la sociedad, sino también para prolongar lo máximo posible la vida en su entorno habitual.

This chapter presents the experience carried out with different focus groups made up entirely of people over 65 years of age to carry out a diagnosis of their municipality with respect to the degree of it's friendliness. Only the opinions of the focus groups have been collected with respect to the "information and communication" section, one of the eight topics discussed in each of the focus groups. The analysis of the results obtained in all the investigations leads us to conclude that there is an urgent need to adapt the ICT to the elderly, not only for their integration into society, but also to prolong life in their habitual environment as much as possible.
