In the 13th century Lleida was well known for its leather working industry. In this article we present the fi nd of a new tannery in the city. It is half of a tannery located, however, outside the quarter in which they were normally found. The fi nd we present here is an important contribution to the study of the urban layout of the mediaeval town.
La Lleida del segle XIII es una ciutat coneguda per les seves pells de qualitat. En aquest article presentem una nova adoberia descoberta a la ciutat. Es tracta de mig taller localitzat fora del complex que conforma el carrer Blanquers i al costat de la muralla i confrontat al riu. Aquest nou descobriment contribueix a l’estudi de la distribució d’ofi cis a la ciutat feudal.
