En 1774 fue publicada en la revista de Gotinga Almanaque de las Musas la balada de Gottried August Bürger titulada Lenore. Muy pronto, este poema alemán se convirtió en un auténtico fenómeno que dio lugar a múltiples traducciones y grabados de la misma e influyó en numerosos textos literarios del siglo XIX. Entre estas composiciones inspiradas en la Lenore de Bürger se encuentra el relato de Washington Irving «El espectro del novio». El presente trabajo persigue evidenciar que el cuento romántico «Luisa» de Eugenio de Ochoa trasluce la injerencia de ambos textos, tanto el de Bürger como el de Irving, así como clarificar de qué manera y en qué aspectos prevalece cada uno de ellos en la propuesta literaria de Ochoa

In 1774 the ballad of Gottfried August Bürger entitled Lenore was published in the Göttingen magazine Musenalmanach. Very soon, this German poem became a true phenomenon that led to multiple translations and engravings of it and influenced numerous literary texts of the 19th century. Among these compositions inspired by Burger’s Lenoreis Washington Irving’s short story «The Spectre Bridegroom» The present work seeks to show that the romantic short story «Luisa» by Eugenio de Ochoa reveals the influence of both texts, both that of Bürger and that of Irving, as well as to clarify in what way and in what aspects each one of them prevails in the proposal literary of Ochoa
