Resumen de Edificio Tívoli, la recuperación del patrimonio a través de estrategias sostenibles

  La atención al patrimonio y la historia de las ciudades no debería de ir en contra del cuidado del medioambiente y del tejido social. Las actuaciones sostenibles han dejado de ser una opción para convertirse en requisito indispensable del buen hacer, de una arquitectura responsable y también del futuro del patrimonio. Esta corriente sostenible es apoyada por los más altos organismos públicos y privados y consolida a los arquitectos y urbanistas como los principales agentes e impulsores del cambio a través de sus proyectos. Desde esta visión nace la intervención sobre el Edificio Tivoli, una construcción residencial de época modernista situada en el casco histórico de Cartagena. Desde la actuación arquitectónica y con medidas sostenibles, se activa y optimiza el inmueble mientras se respeta el valor intrínseco del edificio catalogado y su relación con la sociedad.

  The attention for the heritage and history of cities should not be against thc care of the environment and social fabric. Sustainability in the AEC sector is notan option anymore but an essential requirement of good work, responsible architecture, and the future of patrimony. The sustainable trend is supported by the highest rank public and private entities, empowering architects as the main agents and drivers of change through their projects. The renovation of the Tivoli Building, a residential construction from the modernist period placed in the old town of Cartagena, born under this sustainable premise. From the refurbishment the building is activated and optimized with sustainable strategies, meanwhile their intrinsic values and relationship with the city are preserved.
