    La Ruta de Aviturismo del Biocorredor Estuario del Río Chone –La Segua –Cordillera El Bálsamo, es un producto turístico regional, localizado principalmente en los cantones San Vicente, Sucre y Chone de la provincia de Manabí. Este producto puede ser comercializado como un paquete completo, o como paquetes complementarios de menor alcance geográfico y temático.La Ruta está compuesta de cinco zonas; tres de ellas constituyen los núcleos de aviturismo: el REVISICOF, el humedal La Segua y la Cordillera El Bálsamo, y dos son ejes articuladores de los núcleos: Eje Puerto Larrea –Portovelo y Eje Puerto Larrea –Km 8.5 desde Bahía (PUCE-Manabí); estos dos ejes tienen, además, la función se servir como espacios públicos de promoción de la Ruta.El recursoturístico principal de la Ruta son las 249 (doscientas cuarenta y nueve) especies de aves registradas al 17 de agosto de 2018.Estos recursos aviturísticos cuentan con recursos turísticos culturales que robustecen los paquetes ofertados que conforman el producto Ruta de Aviturismo.Los socios comerciales principales de la Ruta son ASOHUMEDAL, ASMANGISCO y 9 reservas privadas de la Cordillera El Bálsamo; a ellos se une un conjunto de prestadores de servicios turísticos, todos con la misma probabilidad de constituirse en socios de la Ruta. Todo el conjunto de actores descritos cuenta con el apoyo institucional del MINTUR, MAE, GAD provincial de Manabí y GAD ́s municipales de los cantones San Vicente, Sucre y Chone.Los núcleos de aviturismo disponen de infraestructura y facilidades básicas para la práctica de al menos 13 tipos distintos de actividades aviturísticas; asimismo, se cuenta con un perfil inicial del segmento de mercado potencial de la ruta.El eje principal de la Ruta equivale a una distancia de 102Km. El paquete completo de la Ruta ocupa un tiempo neto de operación de cinco días.

    The Route of Avitourism of the Biocorridor Estuary of the Chone River -The Segua -Cordillera El Bálsamo, is a regional tourist product, located mainly in the cantons of San Vicente, Sucre and Chone of the province of Manabí. This product can be marketed as a complete package, or as complementary packages of smaller geographic and thematic scope. The Route is composed of five zones; three of them are the centers of bird tourism: the REVISICOF, the wetland La Segua and the Cordillera El Bálsamo, and two articulating axes of the nuclei: Puerto Larrea -Portovelo axis and Puerto Larrea -8.5 km from Bahía (PUCE-Manabí)axis; these two axes also have the function to serve as public spaces for the promotion of the Route. The main tourist resource of the Route is249 (two hundred and forty-nine) bird species registered on August 17, 2018. These avituristic resources have cultural tourism resources that strengthen the packages offered that make up the product Ruta de Aviturismo. The main commercial partners of theRoute are ASOHUMEDAL, ASMANGISCO and 9 private reserves of the Cordillera El Bálsamo; they are joined by a group of tourism service providers, all with the same probability of becoming partners in the Route. The whole set of actors described has the institutional support of MINTUR, MAE, GAD provincial of Manabí and municipal GADs of the cantons of San Vicente, Sucre and Chone. The avitourism centers have infrastructure and basic facilities for the practice of at least 13 different types of avituristic activities; likewise, there is an initial profile of the potential market segment of the route. The main axis of the Route is equivalent to a distance of 102 km. The complete package of the Route occupies a net operating time of five days.
