    En este artículo exploramos la relación entre literatura y enfermedad en la novela Papá (2003) del escritor argentino Federico Jeanmaire. Para ello, tras un estado de la cuestión que nos sirve como aproximamiento a la obra, dividimos nuestro análisis en tres bloques principales: las metáforas que rodean la enfermedad, el traslado de las metáforas y la literatura y su relación con la enfermedad. De este modo, nuestro objetivo es, en un primer lugar, analizar la retórica que rodea la enfermedad e investigar el posible traslado de estas metáforas a otros temas que aparecen en el libro, como la relación paterno filial. En segundo lugar, estudiamos la relación entre literatura y enfermedad y las distintas posiciones desde las que abordar la cuestión, centrándonos en la enfermedad como origen del hecho literario y en la escritura como forma de terapia.

    In this paper we explore the connections between literature and illness in the novel Papá (2003) by the Argentinian writer Federico Jeanmaire. With this purpose, after an state of the art that functions as a first contact with the work, we divide our analysis in three main parts: the metaphors that surround illness, the transfer of these metaphors and literature and its connections with disease. In this way, our main goal is, firstly, to analyse the rhetoric that enclose illness and research the transfer of these metaphors used in the book to speak about other topics, such as the relationship between father and son. Secondly, we study the connections between literature and illness and the different stances on the subject, focusing on disease as the origin of literature and writing as a form of therapy.
