Resumen de Úlceras de Lipschütz: cómo reconocerlas y tratarlas

  La úlcera de Lipschütz es una afección aparentemente poco frecuente, relacionada con algunos tipos de infecciones de las vías respiratorias y cuadros catarrales. En la mayoría de los casos, se resuelven espontáneamente, sin dejar secuelas, aunque es necesario vigilar a largo plazo a estas pacientes, dada su relación con algunas patologías autoinmunes. Describimos tres casos atendidos en el servicio de ginecología de nuestro hospital, con el manejo y las pruebas complementarias realizadas. Se hace especial hincapié en el posible infradiagnóstico de esta condición así como la importancia de sistematizar el tratamiento para una resolución temprana del cuadro, optimizando el tratamiento tópico y asociando antibióticos a nivel sistémico en los casos más graves.

  Lipschütz ulcers are an apparently rare condition, related to some types of respiratory tract infections and catarrhal conditions, in most cases, they resolve spontaneously without leaving sequelae. However, it is necessary to monitor these patients in the long term, given the relationship of this type of injury with some autoimmune pathologies. In this article, three cases treated at the gynecology service of our hospital are discussed, including the diagnosis and management. Special emphasis is placed in the possible underdiagnosis of this condition as well as the importance of systematizing the treatment for an early resolution, in order to optimize the management. The association of antibiotics at the systemic level can be necessary in more serious cases, as well as powerfull symptomatic relief, given the inability produced by the location of this type of lesion.
