  • Environmental product declarations (EPDs) are Type III environmental labels (according to ISO 140251 ) that report a peer-reviewed summary of the results of a lifecycle assessment (LCA). As EPDs play an increasing role in design decisions, it is important for structural engineers to understand the basic information that is contained within these labels.
