L’estudi s’ocupa d’assenyalar l’atenció que els escriptors valencians de la segona meitat del segle xix i el primer terç del xx dedicaren a la revolta de les Germanies. D’aquesta manera, s’hi posa especial atenció en les conferències que, sobre les dissimilituds entre «les Comunitats de Castella i les Germanies de València», pronuncià Fèlix Pizcueta en desembre de 1881 i gener de 1882; la redacció i recepció de l’obra teatral Lo darrer agermanat, que Constantí Llombart estrenà en 1883; els dos textos —un dels quals inacabat i totalment desconegut— que, en valencià i ambientats en les Germanies, redactà el jove Vicent Blasco Ibáñez; i altres obres literàries, acadèmiques i periodístiques que van veure la llum al territori valencià durant la segona part del Huit-cents i fins a 1935.

The study aims to highlight the attention that Valencian writers of the second half of the 19th and the first third of the 20th century devoted to the Revolt of the Brotherhoods (‘Germanies’). In this way, special attention is paid to the lectures given by Fèlix Pizcueta in December 1881 and January 1882 on the dissimilarities between «the Communities of Castile and the Germanies of Valencia»; the writing and reception of the play Lo darrer agermanat, which Constantí Llombart premiered in 1883; the two texts —one of which is unfinished and totally unknown— which, in Valencian and set in the Germanies, were written by the young Vicent Blasco Ibáñez; and other literary, academic and journalistic works that saw the light in the Valencian territory during the second part of the 19th century and until 1935.
