Resumen de Valoración contingente en áreas protegidas: Caso Sector Amazónico, Ecuador

El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar la disposición a pagar (DAP) y las variables que influyen el pago de los visitantes hacia las Áreas Protegidas (AP) de la Amazonía ecuatoriana. La metodología utilizada fue una encuesta estructura con el método de valoración contingente (VC). Los resultados muestra que existe una DAP promedio de 5.15 USD por disfrute del AP, determinando que los factores que influyentes la VC son los gastos totales y el propósito de la visita por disfrutar del paisaje, llegando a la concluyendo que un modelo Biocontable puede valorar y mejorar la gestión de la riqueza ambiental.

The objective of this work is to identify the willingness to pay (WTP) and the variables that influence the payment of visitors to the Protected Areas (PA) of the Ecuadorian Amazon. The methodology used was a structured survey with the contingent valuationmethod (CVM). The results show that there is an average WTP of USD 5.15 for the enjoyment of the PA, determining that the factors that influence the CVM are the total expenses and the purpose of the visit to enjoy the landscape, concluding that a Biocontable model can assess and improve Environmental wealth management.
