  Este artículo ofrece un estudio sobre la vejez como materia literaria en la novela Love, Again (1995) de Doris Lessing. En él se plantea el interés de Lessing por acercarse a dicho tema a través de la protagonista de la obra, una mujer sexagenaria que afronta la llegada de este proceso evolutivo en un momento clave de su trayectoria vital: la vivencia de la llegada del amor otra vez a su vida. Analizaré la representación del modelo de vejez en una de las últimas obras de la narrativa de ficción de Lessing desde una perspectiva que sugiere, por un lado, la necesidad de aceptar lo que al ser humano le es dado experimentar y, por otro, de transgredir...

  This essay offers a study on ageing and old age as literary matter of Doris Lessings Love, Again (1995). Lessinq aims to investigate the topic through the novels protagonist, an elderly woman who faces the process of ageing in a key moment of her life span: the encounter with love, again. I shall analyze the representation of the old age pattern in one of the last works of Lessings narrative fiction from a perspective which suggests, on the one hand, the need to accept that which has been given to the individual to experiment in his/her life and, on the other hand, the need so subvert certain social and cultural imposed limits.
