Resumen de Un resello del Cabildo de Tenerife. ¿La historia se repite?

A lo largo de este trabajo trataremos de arrojar algo de luz sobre un nuevo resello realizado en la isla de Tenerife, con escasas referencias bibliográficas y donde trataremos de contextualizarlo mediante el análisis de la documentación histórica. Además, haremos referencia al primer autor que la menciona brevemente un una publicación y plantearemos cuatro hipótesis que podrían desentrañar su autenticidad y utilidad en una tierra donde el fenómeno del resellado no se veía desde la primera mitad del siglo XVIII y donde quedó definitivamente en desuso en 1776.

Throughout this article we will try to shed some light on a new countermark made on the island of Tenerife, with few bibliographic references and where we will try to contextualize it by analyzing the historical documentation. In addition, we will refer to the first author who briefly mentions it in a publication and we will propose four hypotheses that could unravel its authenticity and usefulness in a land where the resealing phenomenon had not been seen since the first half of the 18th century and where it was definitively disused in 1776.
