    Il manoscritto Ott. Lat. 845, di buona antichità sotto il profilo paleografico e possibilmente approntato in zona autoriale, era da tempo noto e ascritto tra i canzonieri catalani, contenendo tre opere lulliane in rima: Cent noms de Déu; Desconhort de nostra Dona; Desconhort de Ramon. Un esame analitico ha messo in evidenza che le tre opere, pur provenendo da uno stesso ambiente, erano in origine libelli separati.

    L’analisi puntuale della prima unità, che contiene i Cent noms de Déu, ha evidenziato mediante la raccolta di tutti gli elementi paratestuali (rubriche e relativi segni di preparazione, numerazione dei capitoli). che l’approntamento del testo ha visto al lavoro più persone e che la Tavola dei Nomi che occupa il foglio iniziale è un vero e proprio microtesto indipendente.

    Tavola dei Nomi e opera risultano inseribili in linee tradizionali diverse e in questo senso V, che (testimone unico) le accoppia, si presenta come compiuta iniziativa editoriale. L’analisi codicologica e paleografica non riesce ad andare oltre: l’indubbia autorevolezza del testimone quanto ad antichità è penalizzata da una fisionomia testuale singolare e da una tradizione affidata a manoscritti decisamente ben più tardi.

    The manuscript of good antiquity under the palaeographical profile and possibly prepared with its author’s involvement, BAV, Ott. Lat. 845 has been known and ascribed among the Catalan chansonniers for a long time, as it contains three Llullian versified works: Cent noms de Déu; Desconhort de nostra Dona; Desconhort de Ramon. An analytical exam reveals that the three works, though made in the same writing centre, were originally separated libelli. Submitted to an in-depth analysis via the collection of all the paratextual elements (rubrics and their related preparation marks, chapter numbering), the first unit, i.e. Cent noms de Déu, demonstrates that several people were working at the preparation of the text and that the Names Chart in the first folio is an actual independent microtext.

    The Names Chart and the work can be inserted in different lines of the tradition and, in this regard, V is the only witness that pairs them, which comes as an accomplished editorial initiative. The codicological and palaeographical analysis cannot go further:

    the undoubted authority of this codex in terms of antiquity is penalized by the peculiar textual physiognomy and by a tradition entrusted to much later manuscripts.
