    En este artículo tratamos de indagar sobre la memoria construida sobre la Segunda República española y cómo, desde el inicio de la Guerra Civil hasta prácticamente la actualidad, el relato oficial, sustentado en una primera fase de intensa y brutal represión (1936-1940), utilizó el miedo como factor paralizante ante cualquier posibilidad de resistencia y acción política opositora durante toda la Dictadura; y posteriormente, durante la transición hacia la monarquía parlamentaria, utilizó el olvido y la «reconciliación» como base fundacional del nuevo régimen político.

    In this article we try to investigate the memory built on the Second Spanish Republic and how, from the beginning of the Civil War until practically today, the official account, sustained in a first phase of intense and brutal repression (1936-1940), he used fear as a paralyzing factor in the face of any possibility of resistance and oppositional political action throughout the dictatorship; and later, during the transition to the parliamentary monarchy, he used oblivion and «reconciliation» as the foundational basis of the new political regime.
