    La finalidad de este estudio es el análisis de la Ley 41/2002, de 14 de noviembre, básica reguladora de la Autonomía del Paciente y de Derechos y Obligaciones en Materia de Información y Documentación Clínica. Y ver su repercusión en las relaciones del ciudadano, los profesionales sanitarios y el Sistema Nacional de Salud en materia de información y documentación clínica. Esta Ley, de carácter básico estatal, ha supuesto un gran avance en las relaciones médico-enfermo, y ha sido desarrollada en numerosos aspectos por las diferentes Comunidades Autónomas. La importancia del consentimiento informado ha adquirido mayor relevancia, si cabe, en el último año por la pandemia. Todo paciente debe conocer sobre su estado de salud y las alternativas posibles ante su enfermedad. Después decidirá y dará su consentimiento. Existen particularidades, previstas por la ley, cuando los ciudadanos participan en proyectos de investigación.

    The purpose of this study is the analysis of Law 41/2002 November 14, basic regulation of the Autonomy of the Patient and Rights and Obligations in the Matter of Information and Clinical Documentation. And see its impact on the relationships of citizens, health professionals and the National Health System in terms of information and clinical documentation. This law, of a basic state nature, has meant a great advance in doctor-patient relations, and has been developed in numerous aspects by the different Autonomous Communities. The importance of informed consent has become more relevant, if possible, in the last year due to the pandemic. All patients must know about their health and the possible alternatives to their illness. Then they will decide and give their consent. There are particularities, provided for by law, when citizens participate in research projects.
