El pasado 2 de noviembre la Convención para la Protección del Patrimonio Cultural Subacuático cumplió 10 años desde que fuera aprobada en 2001. La Convención se ha convertido en la mayor herramienta legal con la que cuenta la comunidad internacional para regular las actividades dirigidas sobre el patrimonio sumergido al mismo tiempo que garantiza la protección de este patrimonio allá dónde se encuentre.

The last 2nd of November the UNESCO Convention on the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage had its 10th Anniversary since it was approved in 2001. The Convention has become one of the greatest legal instrument that the international community has in order to regulate the activities directed to the underwater cultural heritage at the same time as it guarantees its protection wherever this heritage is found.
