  Este trabajo pretende analizar el emblema del Concejo de Cintruénigo, recogido en su sello más antiguo, tanto la leyenda como los elementos iconográficos que figuran en el mismo. De esta forma, también, contribuimos a conocer mejor la evolución de las fortificaciones de época medieval que allí se construyeron y de la población urbana en los siglos XVI y XVII.

  This work analyzes the emblem of the town, the Council of Cintruénigo, collected in its oldest seal, both the text and the iconographic elements that appear in it. In this way, we also contribute to better understand the evolution of the medieval fortifications that were built there and of the urban population in the 16th and 17th centuries.

  Lan honek Cintruenigoko Kontzejuaren ikurra aztertu nahi du, bere zigilu zaharreneanjasoa, bai kondaira bai bertan agertzen diren elementu ikonografikoak. Horrela, bertaneraiki ziren Erdi Aroko gotorlekuen eta XVI. eta XVII. mendeetako hiri-biztanleriarenbilakaera hobeto ezagutzen ere lagundu genuen.
