    En el contexto de “la oportunidad del afuera” —entendida como la condición de migrante por distintas circunstancias— este artículo se enfoca en responder en los casos de Alice Rahon, Marianne Gast y Leonora Carrington, que se trasladaron a México entre 1939 y 1949, dos cuestiones que forman parte de la investigación Soñadoras errantes: territorios femeninos y espacios creativos móviles ¿Cuál es el rol del “afuera” para estas creadoras? ¿Cómo afecta en su trabajo el marco geográfico y espacial? ¿Qué las conecta? La respuesta refleja una multiplicidad de miradas sobre los diversos marcos geográficos y culturales e investiga la idea del retorno al lugar como revelación de la alteración en y por el “topos”. Los estudios de caso: Jardines del Pedregal, El Eco, Torres Satélite y Xilitla, son entendidos como dispositivos de la emoción, la plástica objetual y la magia.

    In the context of "the opportunity of the outside"—understood as the status of migrant by different circumstances— this article focuses on answering, in the cases of Alice Rahon, Marianne Gast and Leonora Carrington, who moved to Mexico between 1939 and 1949; two questions that are part of the research Wandering Female Dreamers: Women's Territories and Mobile Creative Spaces. What is the role of the "outside" for these creators? How does the geographic and spatial framework affect their work? What are their connections? The response reflects a multiplicity of glances over the various geographic frameworks and investigates the idea of the return to the place as a revelation of the alteration in and by the "place". The case studies are: Pedregal Gardens, El Eco Museum, Satellite Towers and Xilitla Pools, which are understood as devices of emotion, object-plastic and magic.
