    The new studies about the megalithism of the Basque Country made necessary to compare the previous hypothesis, to revise, confirm or refuse them. Excavation memories and the materials of the Basque Country Neolithic Dolmens have been investigated as well as the bibliography from nearby provinces. The conclusions are that the first phase of the megalitism starts between 5300-5000 BP, emphasizing the existence of geometrics and polished axes in trousseaus, and the architecture is conditioned by the accessibility of the commodities and conservation. However, to know more about the reasons of this phenomenon it would be necessary more knowledge about different burial rituals as well as their living places.

    Euskal Herriko megalitismoaren hasierari buruz dauden azken hamarkadetako datu berriek lehenagotik ezagutzen ziren datuekin bateratzeko beharra sortu dute, aurreko hipotesiak osatu, baieztatu edo baztertzeko. Hau gauzatzeko Euskal Herriko Neolitoko trikuharrietako materialak eta indusketa txostenak aztertu dira, inguruko probintzietako bibliografiarekin batera. Ondorio gisa, megalitismoaren lehenengo fasea 5300-5000 BP bitartean kokatuko genuke, atuetan geometrikoak eta aizkora leunduen presentzia azpimarratuz, lehengaien eskuragarritasunak eta kontserbazioak trikuharrien arkitektura ezaugarriak baldintzatuko dituelarik. Halere, fenomeno honen zergatiak aurkitzeko asko lagunduko luke gainontzeko ehorzketa moduen eta bizilekuen ezagutza sakonago batek.
