    Al-Šuštarī, Abū l-Ḥasan ‘Alī Ibn ‘Abd Allāh al-Numayrī, el granadino, es uno de los sufíes más influyentes en la historia del sufismo, fue el primero en introducir el zéjel en la poesía sufí y sus estrofas se siguen recitando en la práctica de la danza espiritual por todo el mundo musulmán. Se nos presenta interesante investigar otras facetas del personaje, debido a que su fama como poeta las ha hecho eclipsar.

    Al-Šuštarī inhabitant of Granada, is one of the most influential Sufis along the history of Sufism. He was the first one including the za?al in the Sufi poetry. His stanzas are still being recited in spiritual dances all around the muslin world. His fame as a poet overshadows other aspects of his personality that we consider interesting to be inquired.
