    L’article pretén analitzar la qüestió nacional i lingüística en l’obra memorialística de Nicolau Primitiu Gómez Serrano (1877-1971), més concretament al dietari Varia I (1934-1935), que presenta una sèrie de temes recurrents en la resta de volums, entre els quals destaquen els escrits de reivindicació patriòtica, en què planteja el tipus de nacionalisme escaient per al País Valencià, així com també els seus límits i la llengua que hi és pròpia, la filiació i el nom de la qual també susciten el seu interés, com bé mostren aquestes pàgines.

    The article aims to analyze the national question in the work of Nicolau Primitiu Gómez Serrano, specifically in the diary Varia I (1934-1935), that presents some recurring themes in the other volumes, including the writings of patriotic vindication in which raises the kind of nationalism suitable for Valencia, as well as its limits and its Language, whose origin and name also arouses his interest, as these pages show.
