    Ante la actual necesidad de una renovación de la educación, se plantea la rehabilitación del Humanismo renacentista como un modo con el que intentar responder a la presente crisis de las humanidades. Semejante tarea retoma la interpretación del humanismo realizada por el filósofo Ernesto Grassi; de cuyo pensamiento se derivará, por un lado, la exigencia de llevar a cabo una revisión de lo que sea el humanismo, y, por otro, la revalorización de la tradición humanista como un pensamiento eminentemente filosófico.

    Faced with the current need for a renewal of education, the rehabilitation of Renaissance humanism is proposed as a way of attempting to respond to the present crisis in the humanities. Such a task takes up the interpretation of humanism made by the philosopher Ernesto Grassi; from whose thought will derive, on the one hand, the demand to carry out a revision of what humanism is, and, on the other hand, the revaluation of the humanist tradition as eminently philosophical thought.
