  El presente plan de investigación tiene como objetivo mejorar el aprendizaje de la Conquista de América en Estudios Sociales de los estudiantes de noveno año de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa "General Medardo Alfaro” ubicada en la provincia de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. Este estudio tiene una gran importancia en el aprendizaje de la Conquista de América para la formación del estudiante, ya que adquiere conocimientos eficaces en relación a la historia. Además, el aula inversa es una metodología activa que favorece el aprendizaje de la Conquista de América en los educandos. Esta investigación cuenta con un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño cuasi experimental y de tipo descriptiva. La muestra a considerar es de 36 estudiantes del noveno año de Educación General Básica del paralelo “F”, la cual fue escogida de manera intencional y no probabilística; en cuanto a las técnicas e instrumentos de recogida de datos se utilizará: la encuesta con un cuestionario estructurado para determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la Conquista de América de los estudiantes del noveno año paralelo “F” y evaluar los resultados de la aplicación de las actividades didácticas. Luego de obtener los datos serán procesados mediante el software estadístico SPSS. Los resultados demostraron que los estudiantes tienen un nivel medio de conocimiento sobre la Conquista de América, por ende, se requiere aplicar actividades didácticas a través del aula invertida ya que se observó que los estudiantes alcanzan un nivel alto en el aprendizaje de la temática de Estudios Sociales antes mencionada.

  The objective of this research plan is to improve the learning of the Conquest of America in Social Studies of the students of the ninth year of Basic General Education of the Educational Unit "General Medardo Alfaro" located in the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. Study has a great importance in the learning of the Conquest of America for the formation of the student, since it acquires effective knowledge in relation to history. In addition, the reverse classroom is an active methodology that favors the learning of the Conquest of Americain the students. This research has a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental design and descriptive type. The sample to consider is 36 students of the ninth year of Basic General Education of parallel “F”, which was chosen intentionally and not probabilistically; regarding the data collection techniques and instruments, the following will be used: the survey with a structured questionnaire to determine the level of knowledge about the Conquest of America of the students of the 9th parallel year "F" and to evaluate the results of the application of the didactic activities. After obtaining the data, they will be processed using the SPSS statistical software. The results showed that students have a medium level of knowledge about the Conquest of America, therefore, it is required to apply didactic activities through the flipped classroom since it was observed that students reach a high level in learning the subject of Studies Social aforementioned.
