    INTRODUCCIÓN: La leche materna es el mejor alimento para el lactante durante los primeros meses de vida. La postura de la madre y la colocación del lactante al pecho han sido objeto de todo tipo de recomendaciones, algunas contradictorias entre sí.

    OBJETIVO: Realizar una revisión bibliográfica acerca de las técnicas de lactancia materna.

    MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: Se ha llevado a cabo una investigación consistente en una revisión bibliográfica sistemática sobre la literatura científica existente. Se ha realizado una búsqueda sistemática de libros y, también, se han consultado artículos en las principales bases de datos: Pubmed, Medline, y Scielo, seleccionando artículos científicos procedentes de publicaciones académicas revisadas e información de guías actualizadas.

    RESULTADO: El Comité de Lactancia de la Asociación Española de Pediatría refiere que la postura de crianza biológica es especialmente adecuada durante los primeros días y cuando existe algún problema de agarre, aunque se puede realizar en cualquier momento. Posiciones: sentada, acostada, de crianza biológica, en balón de rugby y de caballito.

    CONCLUSIÓN: podemos encontrar diferentes métodos para poder escoger el que mejor se adapte a la madre y al bebé para evitar problemas en la mama y problemas de rechazo de la lactancia.

    INTRODUCTION: Breast milk is the best food for infants during the first months of life. The posture of the mother and the placement of the infant at the breast have been the subject of all kinds of recommendations, some contradictory to each other.

    OBJECTIVE: To carry out a bibliographic review about breastfeeding techniques.

    MATERIAL AND METHODS: An investigation consisting of a systematic bibliographic review on the existing scientific literature has been carried out. A systematic search for books has been carried out and articles have also been consulted in the main databases: Pubmed, Medline, and Scielo, selecting scientific articles from reviewed academic publications and information from updated guides.

    RESULT: The Lactation Committee of the Spanish Pediatric Association refers that the biological rearing posture is especially suitable during the first days and when there is a grip problem, although it can be done at any time. Positions: sitting, lying down, biological parenting, rugby ball and rocking horse.

    CONCLUSION: We can find different methods to be able to choose the one that best suits the mother and the baby to avoid problems in the breast and problems of rejection of breastfeeding.
