Estructura y análisis diferencial del ítem de acorde a sexo y edad del Test de Inteligencia General Matrices en estudiantes universitarios

    La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo analizar las propiedades psicométricas del Test de Inteligencia General Matrices en estudiantes de cuatro universidades de la ciudad de Lima. Para ello, se trabajó en una muestra peruana no probabilística de 517 (347 varones y 170 mujeres) de 18 y 31 años. Se utilizó el método de ecuaciones estructurales (SEM) para la medición del instrumento, lo cual permitió confirmar la estructura de unidimensionalidad, de igual manera se realizó la invarianza del análisis diferencial de los items mediante mode-lo SEM y regresión logística binaria que señalan la equivalencia de medida. Asimismo, se propone trabajar una estructura reducida del instrumento, en lo que respecta a la medida del factor g, como propuesta de evaluación de la inteligencia, esto con el fin de adaptarse a la muestra en estudiantes jóvenes y adultos evaluados.

    The aim of this research was to analyze the psychometric properties of the General Intelli-gence Matrices Test in students from four universities in the city of Lima. To this end, we worked on a nonprobabilistic Peruvian sample of 517 (347 males and 170 females) aged 18 and 31. The method of structural equations (SEM) was used to measure the instrument, which allowed the confirmation of the one-dimensional structure. Similarly, the invariance of the differential analysis of the items was carried out by means of a SEM model and binary logistic regression that indicates the equivalence of measurement. Likewise, it is proposed to work on a reduced structure of the instrument, regarding the measurement of the g factor, as a proposal for the evaluation of intelligence, this with the aim of adapting to the sample in young and adult students evaluated.
