The implementation of the geological heritage to the educational field has always posed different problems. In order to contribute to give partial solutions to those problems, they are suggested some innovation activities based on the Description-Interpretation- Prediction (DIP) methodology, planned according to the usual structure of activities previous, during and later to the countryside journey. The activities are part of the educational strategy “Learning Based on Problems” and the cooperative work, in order to develop competences. They implement some innovation experiences which have a high value as an educational resource, such as the Geo_GPS and the Geocamp. In addition, it is wanted to contribute to the adjustment of teachers to the “Information Society” and to the work methodologies of the “2.0 School of the XXI Century”.
