Resumen de Vestir al sujeto femenino: la moda goticuqui en Casa de Muñecas (2012) de Patricia Esteban Erlés

En este artículo se analiza la influencia de la moda y el gótico en la configuración del sujeto femenino dentro de la antología de microrrelatos Casa de muñecas (2012), de Patricia Esteban Erlés (Zaragoza, 1972). A través de una revisión de la teorización sobre las casas de muñecas, y el rol de las muñecas según la estética gótica, se aproximará a las ansiedades del sujeto femenino posmoderno español a través de la moda. El vestido goticuqui, que ciñe y coarta el cuerpo, articula la caracterización de las protagonistas. Estos seres femeninos se encuentran restringidas por los valores de una vida intrafamiliar tradicional y claustrofóbica. Las muñecas y sus dueñas se rebelan ante un papel de sumisión y la estética del gótico distorsiona sus comportamientos normativos.

This article analyzes the influence of Fashion and Gothic in the configuration of the female subject within the anthology of micro-stories Casa de Muñecas (2012), by Patricia Esteban Erlés (Saragossa,1972). Through a review of the dollhouse’s theories, and the role of dolls following Gothic aesthetics, I will approach the anxieties of the postmodern Spanish female subject through Fashion. The characterization of the female protagonists is through the goticuqui dress, which girdles and restricts the body. Those female selves are restricted by the values of a traditional and claustrophobic intra-family life. Dolls and their owners’ rebel against a submissive role and the Gothic aesthetic distorts their normative behaviors.
