Análise da vantagem de jogar em casa em diferentes ligas do futebol mundial

    The aim of this study was to compare the advantage of playing at home between the Brazilian Championship, the Premier League, and the Chinese Super League. The sample consisted of 6,000 matches, with 2,280 from the Brazilian Championship, 2,280 from the Premier League and 1,440 from the Chinese Super League. The conditions of win draw and defeat of the championships in the years 2012 to 2016 were analyzed. All matches adopted criteria of three points for win, one for draw and no point for defeat. The match tables were consulted on the websites www.resultados.com, www.cbf.com.br and www.premierleague.com. It is considered that there is an advantage at home when the use of the team is greater than 50%. In the statistical analysis, the Anova One Way test was used with Tukey's post-hoc application. The value of p <0.05 was considered for significance level. The statistical procedures were performed using SPSS software, version 20.0. The results showed that in the Brazilian Championship and in the Premier League, the clubs had more advantage in playing at home in relation to the Chinese Super League (p<0.001). Therefore, it was noted that the analysis about the Brazilian Championship showed that the teams that play at home in series A have a significant advantage in the amount of points won, as well as in the Premier League the numbers show that this advantage too, in the Chinese Super League too there was a significant difference in home advantage between the home teams, however, there was one factor that was taken into account, the number of games in the Chinese Super League was lower compared to the other leagues in the study. For future studies, the relationship between the number of fans of the home team and the final result of the match could be investigated.

    O objetivo desse estudo foi comparar a vantagem de jogar em casa entre o Campeonato Brasileiro, a Premier League e a Superliga chinesa. A amostra foi composta por 6.000 partidas, sendo 2.280 do Campeonato brasileiro, 2.280 da Premier League e 1.440 da Superliga chinesa. Foram analisadas as condições de vitórias, derrotas e empates dos campeonatos nos anos de 2012 a 2016. Todas as partidas adotaram critérios de três pontos por vitórias, um por empate e zero por derrota. As tabelas das partidas foram consultadas nos sites www.resultados.com, www.cbf.com.br e www.premierleague.com. Considera-se que há vantagem em casa quando o aproveitamento da equipe é maior que 50%. Na análise estatística, empregou-se o teste de Anova One Way com aplicação post-hoc de Tukey. Considerou-se o valor de p<0,05 para nível de significância. Os procedimentos estatísticos foram realizados no software SPSS, versão 20.0. Os resultados apontaram que no Campeonato brasileiro e na Premier League os clubes apresentaram mais vantagem em jogar em casa em relação a Superliga chinesa (p<0,001). Portanto, notou-se que a análise acerca do Campeonato brasileiro mostrou que as equipes que jogam em casa na série A tem uma vantagem significativa no quantitativo de pontos conquistados, assim como na Premier League os números mostram que esta vantagem também, na Superliga chinesa também houve diferença significativa na vantagem em casa entre as equipes mandantes, porém, houve um fator que foi levado em consideração, o número de jogos da Superliga Chinesa foi menor em relação as demais ligas do estudo. Para estudos futuros, poderia ser investigado a relação do quantitativo de torcedores das equipes mandantes e o resultado final da partida.
