Evaluación de actitudes feministas y machistas en docentes y estudiantes de Magisterio

    El objeto de este estudio fue analizar las reflexiones respecto a comportamientos feministas y machistas entre el profesorado de Educación Infantil y Primaria (docentes en centros educativos y profesorado de universidad) y alumnado. La muestra estuvo formada por 309 participantes que respondieron a una encuesta online que contenía dos preguntas cualitativas en las que se tenía que escribir una situación en la que se hubieran comportado como feministas o machistas. Se revisaron los datos obtenidos para extraer, de las situaciones dadas, las unidades temáticas principales. Tras la extracción de los temas, las evaluadoras discutieron conjuntamente la distribución de los mismos. Posteriormente, se utilizó el índice Kappa de Cohen para conocer el acuerdo inter-jueces y se obtuvieron los valores 0,78 y 0,74. En concreto los temas que emergen son: defensa de la igualdad, activismo, conciencia social, ámbito laboral, ámbito docente/lenguaje inclusivo, ámbito privado (hogar-familiar) y autoconsciencia feminista y sexista. El subtema más ampliamente abordado ha sido el de conciencia social, es decir, denunciar o demostrar rechazo ante conductas sexistas. Son varios los participantes que reconocen, que, a pesar de considerarse feministas, tienen actitudes machistas ya que viviendo en una sociedad heteropatriarcal y una cultura androcéntrica, es inevitable. Se encontraron diferencias en las temáticas según colectivos. En concreto, en el alumnado aparece un tema que no está presente en el resto de colectivos: autoconciencia feminista. Respecto al profesorado de universidad, destacan las investigaciones y presentaciones desde una perspectiva de género y en docentes de centros educativos hay un mayor número de situaciones relacionadas con su práctica docente y el lenguaje inclusivo. En síntesis, cada una de las particularidades encontradas según el colectivo, encaja con la cohorte generacional de la que forman parte y con su ocupación

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the reflections regarding feminist and sexist behavior between the teachers of Early Childhood and Primary Education (teachers in educational centers and university professors) and students. The sample consisted of 309 participants who responded to an online survey that contained two qualitative questions in which they had to write a situation in which they had behaved as feminists or machistas. The data obtained were reviewed to extract, from the given situations, the main thematic units. After the extraction of the topics, the evaluators jointly discussed the distribution of the same. Subsequently, Cohen's Kappa index was used to know the inter-judge agreement and the values 0.78 and 0.74 were obtained. Specifically, the themes that emerge are: defense of equality, activism, social conscience, work environment, teaching / inclusive language, private sphere (home-family) and feminist and sexist self-consciousness. The most widely addressed sub-topic has been that of social conscience, that is, to denounce or demonstrate rejection of sexist behavior. There are several participants who recognize that despite being considered feminists, they have macho attitudes because living in a heteropatriarchal society and an androcentric culture is inevitable. There were differences in the themes according to groups. Specifically, in the student body there is a topic that is not present in the other groups: feminist self-consciousness. Regarding the university teaching staff, research and presentations from a gender perspective stand out and in teachers of educational centers there are a greater number of situations related to their teaching practice and inclusive language.
