    En el artículo se argumenta una aproximación a los fundamentos teóricos que sustentan la comunicación asertiva desde una mirada psicológica en el contexto educacional. Se hace un acercamiento teórico a la asertividad desde el punto de vista cognitivo, conductual, cognitivo-conductual integrado y humanista. Se analizan los objetivos de las conductas comunicacionales (asertiva, agresiva y pasiva), las tipologías de asertividad más utilizadas, los momentos para consolidar la conducta asertiva, y las áreas o dimensiones de la conducta asertiva. Se parte de considerar la importancia de la comunicación asertiva para el desarrollo individual y social del ser humano en todos sus contextos de actuación. Los resultados que se exponen forman parte de la tarea de sistematización teórica de la línea de investigación competencias interpersonales, perteneciente al Proyecto de Ciencia e Innovación Tecnológica Competencias de Dirección en Educación, que se desarrolla en la Universidad de Las Tunas, Cuba.

    In the article one argues an approach to the theoretical foundations that sustain the assertive communication from a psychological look in the educational context. A study is done to the theoretic approximations that attempt to circumscribe the assertive from the cognitive point of view, conductual, cognitive integrated conductual and humanist. Comunicacionales examine the objectives of the conducts themselves (assertive, aggressive and passive), the assertive typologies utilized, the moments to consolidate the assertive conduct and areas or dimensions of the assertive conduct examine the objectives of the conducts themselves. It breaks from considering the importance of the assertive communication for the individual and social development of the human being in all his contexts of acting. The results that are exposed are a part of the task of theoretic, line systematization of investigation interpersonal competitions that it belongs to the Project of Science and Technological Innovation Directing Competitions in Education, the fact that you develop at the Las Tunas University, Cuba.
